Church Choir Members,
Welcome to the 2008 ECA's!
We are having
our Big Church Choir reunion on September 19th and 20th 2008 in Hickory, NC for all EC fans that are able to
attend. Hopefully you can come and meet up with The Choir on Friday night at Michael's on 4th restaurant and then see a great
ECB show on Saturday at the ball park(for more info see the CC Reunion 2008 Page)!
Now on to the exciting
part!...
Last year we came up with a cool plan for our get together in October and decided it would be fun to
do the first ever ECA's (Eric Church Awards). This year will we have the 2nd annual ECA's.
From July 11th-September
2nd 2008 you will be able to vote for members of Eric's Church Choir that may deserve one of the awards listed
below and also vote for ECB awards that will go to the band...
For a few of the awards you may need to send in information that only you would know...for Example: "The
Furthest Distance Traveled to a Show"...for this award you would not vote for another member but instead would send in the
furthest distance YOU have traveled to an EC show...(Mileage only not hours). Each award below will explain exactly what information
that you need to send in.
Remember this is completely for FUN and you DON'T have to be present to win an award!!!
Woooohooooo! We would like as many people as possible to vote. Last year we had lots of entries! There will be a special certificate
for each award and that will be presented the night of our reunion. Winning members not present will be contacted
and receive their certificate by mail.
An ECA thread has been started on the ericchurch.com board so that you can discuss the awards.
Please meet and talk with each other! The idea behind the ECA thread is for everyone to get to know each other a little
better! Have fun! This is also where you can post pictures of things that may be in the running ...EX: "The Best Sign/Poster
at a Show": you could post the link to your poster and show people your hard work!
Please don't post who your are voting for however...we would like this to be a total surprise for everyone
until after the September 19th reunion.
Voting will be handled through this site(ericchurchmusic.com) only
so we can keep it private. You will send your votes in ONE time only to me through email by filling in the info below. Just
add your info beside the correct number and send it in! I will print the emails and file them. The votes will
be counted twice...hehe...and the awards will be filled out and given out at Michael's on 4th the night of the reunion.
REMEMBER:
This year we are concentrating on SEPTEMBER 1st 2007- September 1st 2008 only.
*Note: I learned a few things from last year...
- Please fill in a reply for every category even if you don't know exactly who it applies to. It's just easier
to count and keep up with:)
- You can vote for someone more than once but talk it up and try to get a variety. We want to spread the love:)
- Nominate yourself....haha don't be shy...not everyone knows you have an "Eric Tattoo", have made a cool t-shirt,
or poster...so show them off. The forum below allows html and pic posting...use it!
- Do some research...for articles, interview, and reviews...start reading! Also check out other members picture
albums, and myspace/facebook pages!
